The Pre-school to Grade 12 student population is approximately 240 and represents 24 nationalities. The language of instruction is English. Our interactive, inquiry-based programme is designed to offer high academic standards through innovative teaching and learning practices. BIS is fully accredited by the Council of International School (CIS) based in UK; the New England Associations of Schools and Colleges (NEASC based in USA) and authorized by the International Baccalaureate Organization in Geneva, Switzerland to offer the Primary Years Programme (PYP) in the Elementary School from Early Childhood to Grade 5 and the IB Diploma Program in Grades 11 & 12 . At BIS we are concerned with developing the concept of what it means to be "internationally educated" and integrating this into the life of our school.
